STITCH OF THE MONTH: WOVEN SPIDER

This versatile spider web needlepoint stitch is a great way to fill in any circular object. Not only does it make beautiful flowers it can be used for a glow on a candle, a cute bunny tail, balloons, the sun, the moon- anything that is round! Treenway silk ribbons would make beautiful woven spider stitches.

The stitch is done on top of the canvas and you can make the spokes visible or hidden.
